CNBC changes its tune
A year ago, when we launched “The Shack” we took it on the chin in quite a few blogs and assorted media outlets. Many were quick to point out that it wouldn’t work. Yesterday CNBC’s Fast Money called it “Cool” and “Shactacular” and spent a fair amount of time championing the campaign.
Check out the video here. If you don’t have time, here’s the good part. “If you trace back to when they started calling themselves the Shack, you can see that the stock has (sic) actually started outperforming the retail ETF by quite a lot. That’s the power of marketing right there.” And later, “The Shack should be bought on the name alone.”
