One of the biggest prizes in advertising is up for grabs again. 42 agencies are in the running, and we are one of them.
A year ago, when we launched “The Shack” we took it on the chin in quite a few blogs and assorted media outlets. Many were quick to point out that it wouldn’t work. Yesterday CNBC’s Fast Money called it “Cool” and “Shactacular” and spent a fair amount of time championing the campaign.
Especially if that eagle is named Freedom. Freedom (the eagle) talks about the freedom of no contract phones in one of our newest spots for RadioShack.
Generally speaking, when you make the advertising trade press, that’s a pretty good day. But when you make a Star Trek fan site, well, that’s an awesome day. Right here.
