The campaign continues to push against lazy dressing and the over-casualization of clothing that’s creeped into culture in the last decade. 120 or so members from the press descended on 93 Mercer street last night for the unvieling of the Piperlime pop-up store in Soho. On Friday night, Piperlime’s “Fashion’s Night Out” will include guest appearances by celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe and Project Runway’s designer cast. We launched the pop-up store using New York Post cover wraps, print, taxi tops and subway domination. Check out the interview and store debut, here.

Our first Piperlime campaign has just hit the fashion magazines and is already causing a stir among the fashionistas on Facebook. Within the first week, Piperlime’s Facebook likes increased 934% between the weeks of Aug. 2 and Aug. 9., while there was a 479% increase to the number of Facebook page comments. With the campaign, Piperlime is taking a stand against the over-casualization of America and asking everyone to hang up the hoodies, step away from the sneakers, and say no to sweatpants. It’s already prompting discussion on Facebook and Twitter, and there’s more to come later this Fall.
