Our latest round of RadioShack holiday commercials featuring Lance Armstrong and recurring character Alphonse have been running on-air for about a week now. These were directed once again by Christopher Guest in Austin, Lance’s hometown.

Our new holiday campaign for RadioShack breaks this week. We collaborated with comic book artist Darick Robertson (Transmetropolitan, The Boys) and director Ryan Ebner to create the heroes in the spots.

Lance Armstrong rides for The Shack

We were in Austin last month shooting this new spot for RadioShack, the first featuring the partnership between Lance Armstrong and The Shack.

This one features the music of Radio Moscow. We’re planning quite a bit more work in the coming months with Lance. Check back often.

CNBC changes its tune

A year ago, when we launched “The Shack” we took it on the chin in quite a few blogs and assorted media outlets. Many were quick to point out that it wouldn’t work. Yesterday CNBC’s Fast Money called it “Cool” and “Shactacular” and spent a fair amount of time championing the campaign.

Check out the video here. If you don’t have time, here’s the good part. “If you trace back to when they started calling themselves the Shack, you can see that the stock has (sic) actually started outperforming the retail ETF by quite a lot. That’s the power of marketing right there.” And later, “The Shack should be bought on the name alone.”

Nothing says “Freedom” like an eagle

Especially if that eagle is named Freedom. Freedom (the eagle) talks about the freedom of no contract phones in one of our newest spots for RadioShack.
